Ask him the FMCSA code for collusion. He may let you go right then.

One of these days I'll get me a pump like that. Go right well with my Heller Aller windmill... that I still need to erect!

I one time he pulled me he was pointed the other direction. I'd already backed it down cause a city cop usually likes to sit there. Took him three miles to catch up. I was only around 92k...was having trouble with the lift on the truck. I just eased it over and dropped the axle. The look of dissappoitment on his face was priceless when he looked at my scale ticket.... didn't even do a paper check.

Mama knows his boss very well...he just doesn't know that....

I’ve been DOT’d twice by the same trooper in the same area. He likes to give you a level 3 while he chats away on his Bluetooth. It’s unprofessional, but hey, it keeps him from digging around. Last time as he was handing me my paperwork, I told him “yeah I know your boss, Mr. So and So. I called him last year to come to our company and talk about some safety issues.”

He immediately told whoever it was he was on the phone “hey, let me call you back.” One thing I learned early, you never know who you are stopping, and you never know who they know. Treat everyone well.

Only had a problem with one....he was young....we had a nice chat. I was respectfully....him not so much but we cleared that up. Still cost me 13 Benji's. The phone call to the axle manufacturer/installer wasn't so pleasant.

For those of you with minor oil leaks on your motors, get a can of brake cleaner each morning and spray it. It’s a strong solvent and will degrade it quickly, especially during a 72 hr blitz. It’s “oil leak be gone” in a can.
