Well I guess I should get out and start pounding on doors one of these days. I tell ya its hard to decide WTF to do when you "might" get a call back in the next 11.5 months. The job was a good one, could see myself retiring from it TBH. Lots of local dump truck/belly dump work in BC right now and heard rumours of a couple gravel outfits looking for mechanics right now. Worked for large dealers almost my entire career so going to work in a fleet shop would be a huge adjustment.

 

All the real jewelry store are closed so I’m not sure what your going to do?

 

Any cat houses where you would like to be hiring?
When I was in the mine shop in mac I worked with a bunch of pumpkin heads. Tough being paid flat rate surrounded by dweebs that get by doing 1/4 of the work you do. Mainly because they were always squawking I was making them look bad. Umm, really?

 

I still have access to internal postings. Nothing mechanical at all company wide in western Canada.
