Had a batch of 2000 century class trucks. Greased for life driveline. At 100k miles had auto slacks freezing up. Had to send to dealer for a brake adjustment. Every truck numerous times. Finally told them I'm putting zerks in them. "OH you will void the warranty". Well when a truck sets 3 days waiting to have slacks greased amd adjusted under warranty how much is lost voiding warranty? My way of thinking is you dont even need warranty. Its consumers responsibility.
Had two non owned trucks, same vintage towed in for frozen Scams and tire fires out of warranty. Convenience sometimes is expensive.
Btw lubed for life was 550k if it made it. Most slip shaft were shot and u joints had been replaced twice.
2003 volvos with a grease less drag link. 250k miles Found one loose and full of rust, water and very low miles. Called Volvo rep. "No we dont have a issue".
Local Volvo "Yea we have 100 of those in stock".
I went to company President and showed him. Let him know that we had about 15 identical trucks all about same mileage. I was told to just change the one and send in for warranty. He didn't care to order the other trucks in for inspection. One week later had a roll over south of Columbus on RT23. Driver lost all steering. State Patrol listed drag link failure as cause. No citation to driver. All of a sudden the President wanted to make a big deal out of it with Volvo. I was just glad the driver was ok.

The Snowbirds are here. I can hear them but not see them. Probably been 24 years since I've seen them last.
-
Love the snowbirds. My grandpa was an airframe tech in the forces. He overhauled every snowbird tutor jet at least 3 times in 52 year career. I'll be on the route watching em.

True west coaster right here. A real barnyard hotrod!

Have you ever checked out The Hanger aircraft museum in Calgary? I was on a 3 day course at the Calgary shop and figured I'd check it out since it was on the way back to the hotel. Lots of cool planes and helicopters there. -
FL is home of the human snowbirds lol
-
You can also go for a flight in an open top bi-plane.. -
One cool thing I learned was most of the major streets in Calgary were named after the province's pioneer aviators. -
