That was the one I mentioned a few months ago for possible parts unit for yours. I imagine it has had a hard life.

 

There's a ton of these mud buggies around here. The ferd 6 leaker is my buddies from circa '09.

The short chains definitely make things easier. I have plenty of long chains. I got tired of dragging them around and having so much extra to deal with after loading. I took 5 of my 20' x ⅜" chains and turned them into specialty short chains. I made four 10' chains, ten 5' chains and twelve 4' chains so that way I had a larger, more convenient selection to choose from when hauling equipment and AG implements. I still carry twelve 20' chains and twelve 18' chains too.

 

Getting loaded in Watertown, SD this morning and gotta run an south to Madison, SD to get the rest of my load and then I'm off to Texas. I haven't been home since April 18th and this weekend is my beautiful wife's 40th birthday. Oops, I mean it's the 11th anniversary of her 29th birthday as she says.

 

If the price is right. Lot of folks think those trucks are worth a fortune regardless of condition.

yeah and short chains don’t suck. I don’t haul much that requires long chains and indirect crossing tie downs. Hope to get to a RGN in the next few months then I’ll ha e a need for the longer ones. I keep getting told I’m getting moved up but we shall see.
