Now I dont haul it cause it's cheap, but there is a place near me making that. But anyhow, with similar stuff. I have found myself strapping down, drive to guard shack for paperwork and I hit the straps again. Normally get a few clicks and nice and tight. Chains on steel I stop in the first 50 miles. Normally can find one to snug up, no matter what you do.

Zoomed in, looks like I got 3 2"ratchets on ditch, & 2 4" winches on road.. Sure don't miss that 174" wheelbase.. LoL
SAR, Eldiablo, Swine hauler and 9 others Thank this. -
Just like logs. By the time you travel down 20-30k of bush roads the logs have settled enough you've gotta tighten them up half a dozen links or so.

Just a curious wuestion. Would keeping some pallets to strap...nevermind. Looked again and my idea would be off the deck.

All you have to do to prevent spongy loads from leaning is alternate the securement from side to side. It's sort of like tightening your wheels on your car...you go opposite to opposite. Make sense? -

Yeah I was thinking on the outside to "frame it" not the top. Boneheaded thought lol

Taking the time to think about what you want you're securement to do before throwing it on is good prevention for future headaches. -
