Got these 5/16 forestry slide hooks for $36 shipped, figured someone out there might be interested in some. Im thrilled. Built some chokers and mainlide slide today.

Side topic. @MACK E-6 too. the newer rem 700s went way down in quality fit/finish. My bud brought over his 6.5 creedmoor 700 and compared to my bdl 700 .270 from the 80s it's a joke. Try and cycle the action quick it snags sometimes and the trigger is a joke even after messing with adjustments.

Local gun guy said early 80s and older rem 700s are the ones to look out for.

In the end of January when I went out to Tucson, I kept seeing these little convoys going eastbound on i10. There would be 2-4 sets of 3. A Tacoma, 4Runner, even a Land Cruiser mixed in. When I say set of 3, the lead Toyo would be flat towing 2 more behind it. Must have seen near 50 of them, passing opposite of me 6 to 12 at a time..

Almost like they were rounding up every 80's to mid 90's Toyota pickup, & suv from the west coast. Looked like Mexcellent's driving them, so I figured they were soon to cross the southern border, never to be seen in the US again..

I tried asking about them on the radio but nobody had it on, or wanted to talk to me, or something..
