Highschool buddy had, or still has a 68 green, white top 289 bronco that was his grandpa's. Needs restored, but it was a bad SOB when we were kids.

 

Well no damage at my ranch, but kid down the street that drives a dump truck whom I met for the first time tonight had a large portion of tree come down on the house. Figured good time to introduce myself. All cleaned up finally. Time for a Soda and shower.

 

Got one knuckle rebushed and cleaned up yesterday.



Then finished fixing a winch i busted yrs ago, and built a mechanical drum brake for skidding logs with it. The automatic brake is only good for 50% of the line pull rating.








Changed fuel filters in the dozer and loader finally. My taters are growin like wildfire. I cant make dirt fast enough to keep up.

 

Got a shake. Comes and goes. Isn't constant to make me think its tire related. Just put shocks on it. Still shakes. Idk what else to do.

 

Got a nice break in SLC. Had to do half of a 34hr restart. The first day of my recap only gave me 4½ hours back so instead of driving for 4½ hours I took the opportunity to catch up on my beauty rest and I waited until midnight tonight to gain another 13½ hours back.

figured it couldn’t go that wrong even if I didn’t know exactly what might arrive

 

Waiting to get a load of lumber off here on San Antonio, then the truck is getting dropped off for some new leaf spring bushings and an alignment. She gonna handle like a race car when its done, lol.

Also get some tires for my wifes yukon. Had a blow out last Sunday and only had the junk spare to get us home. I was trying to find a good used set of tires and wheels, but Im not spending a grand on some fancy 20" wheels/tires and I cant seem to find anything decent in a 16 or 17"

well crap......got to go to work. Got 7 machines to move 80 miles.....but still be home in the evenings.
