Is that really basil, or did you mean bay leaf x2?

 

2 bay leaves. GD auto correct making this hard.

I'm sure you could get buy with it from a can. I have used orange juice in place of fresh oranges. It's hardly noticeable.

I would like to make it with more of a kick. But I'm the only one in my house that would enjoy it. But that recipe is a great base. Adjust as you prefer.

 

Out having a little fun with friends....

Whole chicken in tinfoil, baked taters, and corn on the cob. Oh and plenty adult belly washers......

 

Little family meal....Sweet and Spicy Mexican Chicken....

 

Did 4 loads today, my butt is dragging ! stick a fork in me I'm done !! Got two more fer tommorow. Should be done bout noon then homeward bound.

 

Yall got sweet corn already this yr ??!!

wished @SAR would get done wit planting and teach me how ta cook some ribs this weekend !!!

 

Can't wait to do some sweet corn on the new grill....in the morning will be doing French Toast, eggs and BACON before the boys (and mama) start on Phase II of the kitchen remodel. Not allowed to do any "labor" while playing the chemo game....ahhh well every job needs a lazy arse supervisor!

 

Used a south american spice paste....(archiote paste)...I think we shyed off its real potential. should have marinated a bit longer and used a bit less orange juice maybe a bit more vinegar. It is definitely a big learning curve....but I've got time to play and experiment.
