I think he had it in a recent thread titled 'its finally finished!' or something like that. I'd rather have that 372 personally....

Tried going Fathers Day Shopping for pops today...

    I got nothing.

Think I'm gonna head down to Florida next time I'm home and drag his ### out to a bar. Mother keeps telling me they want another Golden Retriever... so, that's a possibility. Got the head turnin'....

Get a rescue pet. ....it will be more satisfying. Take him to a local pet shelter and spend time with a few of them.

Both. They were heavy, hatchbacks imo were ugly'ist, and underpowered thanks to the fuel shortages of the 70's. Mine was an original 4 cylinder. I swapped in a lethargic V6 and used it as a winter beater for a few years before I got the stupid idea to put a 302 in it. Not sure what was different, but had to move the firewall back and cut the inner fenders out to make it fit. The hood scoop was needed since the carb stuck up through the hood. After it sat in the field for a few years, I didn't feel bad about lighting it up and hauling to the scrap yard.

Still have this one tucked away after succumbing to the "I'm going to restore it someday" virus that is life, marriage, kids, etc. .
