You'd love watching them go down the St Lawrence river. Its surreal they tuck in and around islands like a slalom skier. And they have to miss the shoals too!! Sometimes I can feel them before I can see them. Awe inspiring the bulk and the skill of the pilotscke, jamespmack, PoleCrusher and 3 others Thank this.

10-4. The pilots are pretty good round here too..
Wasted Thyme, whoopNride, Flint1 and 9 others Thank this. -
While I was in Phoenix I had to pick up some Macayo’s enchilada sauce. Can’t get it here in the Midwest. Picked up 17 cans.
Chicken enchiladas:We forgot the black olives this time.
Wasted Thyme, Hurricane69, Cardfan89 and 13 others Thank this. -
Those look great tug. As good or better than the best ones I've had in my favorite local real Mexican restaurant.

Was going to beef n broccoli .... now thinking enchelada sounds good!
Anything with beef is getting "special" ..... might have to rethink my participation with 4H....getting meat from the store is insane these days...ratherr be going in on a 4th or even 5th with a group.
Wasted Thyme, clausland, singlescrewshaker and 5 others Thank this. -
Ha! Hence the word apprentice!!

In all honesty, & as much as I want to say, hell yes I can handle it!! I'm probably not there yet.
My fully loaded gross weight of 54,999lbs, is probably roughly what an 8 axle rig weighs empty. I've moved ONE permitted load, 120" wide all of 30 miles. I have an idea about load placement to get the proper weight on each axle group, but my practice is on a much smaller, lighter scale. Or trying to get the stinger weight right so it doesn't steer me into the ditch!! Permits, routing, pilots, curfews, I feel I should learn on my own dime. That way if something were to get messed up, I won't be affecting anyone's income but my own. I'd feel like crap if my mistake cost my boss money..
DeeeeTroit or bust!!!! Them green motors made a fan out of me..
I still can't make up my mind what to do!! I've got darn near $20k in ol' Buck by now. That's mostly why I want to keep her, as I've spent more on replacement parts than the ol girl cost.
The 3 options I've come up with are..
1-add pusher: But do I want single tire steerable, or non steering duals.?
2-twin screw cutoff: Which more than likely will require gear sets as well because most the newer 40k axles are geared so dang tall. Or 46k rears I can find with 3.90's to 4.11's. But 46k's & an 11.1L..
3-Buy another tractor: Impossible to find what I want. Everything I look at is never quite right.. And when it's close, they want way too much.. This is almost exactly what I want. Big bunk flattop, but some fool pulled the 13 & put a 10 it, engine build date is 03/00, & I think its slightly overpriced. Or am I wrong, & the price is ok..?

I'd rather pay 30 for that than a newer pos for 20k. That is clean looking after a quick skim through. The 99 was 26.5k about as clean as that. Spent it's whole life in South Texas and 500k on it.
Compared to the E-7 Jake's I was VERY impressed with the 12.7clausland, TripleSix, PoleCrusher and 5 others Thank this. -
Personally, I'd jump on it. It's as clean as any you'll find, its exactly what you want, and it is supposedly 'verified' low mileage. I'd call and ask if they had any maintenance records and go from there. But that's just me....clausland, Nostalgic, PoleCrusher and 5 others Thank this.
