Ditto that. Looking at the frame rails & cross members, something just doesn't look right to me. Could be just the way the picture depicts it, I dunno, hard to tell, but it looks someone tried to straighten it, and the last cross member looks newer.

That's why I don't wear shorts. Crap would be rolling down my leg.

You know, I didn't even realize the roof cap was slightly different? Now that I'm looking harder, the hood looks too be a brighter white than the cab also..

Didn't even think about the Detroit itself being wrong. That's the same color as mine, & my water filter is located same spot as well. But mines from 09/92. LoL Newer series 60 are more blueish/gray paint than green I'm thinking? Can't tell from the pics, but it may have an auto belt tensioner on the water pump side?, which I do not have..

I'm not 100% on the 13 to 10 swap, but it looks like a eaton 13 shift pattern right above the cupholder on the dash. I don't see the red splitter button, or one of any color on the current shift lever in there..

Now, this is part of the reason I'm so hesitant to buy another 21+ year old truck. Without you pointing it out, it looked pretty good to me in pictures. LoL I dang sure dont need a polished turd!, I already have an unpolished turd, that could be a polished turd for $4-5k more, not $30k, & starting from scratch with another unknown girl that needs whipped into shape..

I think the big draw for me is when I am actually working, I tend to stay gone 20-23 days. It'd be nice to have a big bunk (flat top)with closet space for clothes, food, maybe a fridge, toaster oven, & one of them tower ac's like Tug has for cool sleeping. I ain't even got a shelf now. Didn't bother me much before as I could get out of it for a few hours every night. Shower, sit in restaurant to eat, watch tv in a lounge & listen to BS trucker tales. Maybe that part will go back to normal now that Covid seems to be settling down.? If that's the case, I'm happy as a clam with my 42"..

Question for all y'all. I was telling a former coworker about my last 2 weeks... butching and moaning about the increase in tight delivery schedules. I want my old lackadaisical Sunday driving routine back. I had to 8 2 split 2x in the last 2 weeks. That's a crime in my opinion. But delivery before 1300 or pickup cutoffs by 1500....
He said maybe its shorter shifts at the customers due to the virus.
    What's your opinion?
Am I just having a more typical set of loads? I used to think my DM dude was extra nice to me... maybe I pissed him off lol

I mean I could be wrong. Acorrding to my wife I'm a dream crusher. But vehicles and equipment I pick apart. And that's too much money with no overhaul and questionable known things. Let alone what you dont know. I once drove 8 hour round trip and circled the truck never getting out of pickup and pointed it north. That it looked good on pictures. Flat top pete with a detroit and a 13sp. I knew it needed work and paint. But the pics didnt show it had been jackknifed and someone repaired the bunk with a generic sheet of aluminum and pop rivets. They left that angle out!
