Just trying to help...I know a little bit about what goes on on the other side of the counter. Dealing with hundreds of different people every day from all walks of life. Not counting foreign nationals, student visas, temporary, visas, suspensions, civil penalties, medical waivers, instruction permits, school permits....etc.
It's not a real pleasant job sometimes. I'm not trying to defend them.OLDSKOOLERnWV, SAR, 1951 ford and 4 others Thank this. -
Still circled ! ....Te he.sawmill, cke, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 10 others Thank this.

That doesn’t fly with me, if you don’t like your job quit. If you’re dealing with an idiot then by all means be frustrated but if a reasonable intelligent guy comes in and tells you three times he doesn’t want to renew his tags that don’t expire for 6 weeks and give him attitude about a rule that doesn’t yet apply and has never applied so at this moment is irrelevant than they can stick it and their attitude up their rear end.

So I thought it would be a good idea to check out the truck I'm taking next week just to make sure everything is okay.
I opened the door and got blasted with the tell tale odour of cigarette smoke. Like a chain smoker has been driving it for a month straight.
Ugh... if I had known this is what I was getting into, I would have booked safety week off. I'm hoping they have it cleaned by Monday, but the guy who put me in this truck is going to get an earful on Monday.
And not only that, despite expressing my distaste for Paccar motors and autoshift transmissions to him in the past, he decides its a good idea to put me in this and a three month experience green horn in a 2018 389 with the X15 and a manual. What?
Both my mechanic buddy and I are hoping/not hoping that he does something to it. Like, how in anyone's right mind is that a sound decision as the person who manages the drivers and what trucks they use?
And the 389 isn't even a spare. It's driver is on holidays!
My desire to own my own truck is going up, faster and faster. I'm not sure what is happening right now but the office is going to hell in a handbasket.sawmill, cke, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 10 others Thank this. -
Well, that defeats the whole purpose.OLDSKOOLERnWV, SAR, 1951 ford and 5 others Thank this.

That thing is nasty.
It’s not like one could eat off the floor in mine, but it looks a lot better than that. Probably smells better too, and I’m a smoker.
I put up Black Ice air fresheners. -
I'm let you come argue the point with her but I'm warning ya she is as hard headed as her mamasawmill, OLDSKOOLERnWV, SAR and 13 others Thank this.

There was even loose tobacco in the center console thing. Like, I don't get disgusted easily, but I'm supposed to be living in this thing for a week. And they've actually started enforcing the "drivers keep the interiors clean" policy. They have the mechanics/techs doing weekly service check the inside and warn drivers if it isn't clean enough (and charge them for detailing if they don't).
I don't understand, and it's getting frustrating. But I don't want to make a stink about it because I'm not the complaining type who #####es and moans about stuff. Eh, whatever. I need to have a relaxing weekend, next week is going to be stressful enough as it is.OLDSKOOLERnWV, SAR, 1951 ford and 6 others Thank this.
