We had a truck struck by lightning. Right on the buggy whip. Needed every single light bulb and every single module replaced. 2 guys in the cab when it happened.

Suprised they didn't ban buggy whips after that. They always seem to go overboard when a one-in-a-billion event happens.

Today has not been a productive Monday. Didnt get unloaded until 3:30, but I called my dispatcher this morning and told him I was running behind and wanted to see which way he wanted me to go (N to Dallas or S towards Waco) and he told me Waco. So my plan was to hit the TA 2mi down the road. Shower, eat and pass out. When my load assignment came in, he put me on a load of shingles out of Irving to Henderson, Co. With a 0800 delivery Wed morning.

I won't be loaded at this place for atleast another hour and a half, then I'll be almost out of hours. So it looks like instead of getting out of Dallas tonight, I'll be stuck here till the AM.

No way Im making Henderson by 0800 Wed.

Like when the banned olfa knives site wide? Literally had a white hat come around and take every olfa knife away. Too many cuts from dull blades, and a pair of east coasters who trimmed their rubber boots. With their legs inside em

I forgot about that one! They probably figured they'd get fired if they took their boots off to do it instead.

I tell ya I do not miss the excessive, over the top BS of that place.

So as I was coming into town, and stopping a light. I noticed a heavy haul operation checking I think his chains. Seemed top notched.
