So on the highway use tax. Sold a truck today picking up the new one tomorrow or Friday.
Do I claim credit on the remaining tax ive already paid on the old truck and only pay the difference of like 50 dollars?

Now for a round of "who's the Ahole?"
Im down at this poor excuse for a truck stop, $10 to park, no food in sight. Decide to have a looksee under the hood while Im sittin here. Notice the air filter is showing some restriction, so lets pull it and blow it out a bit.
I realize I dont have my air nozzle, but there's a shop here. I walk over and find them sitting in the office. Kid comes out and I ask if I can borrow a air house and nozzle to blow out my filter right quick. He says yea and then quickly says "its 2 bucks". Haha, ok...then I realize he's not joking. I just look at him and say "really?" and his little inbred lookin ### goes "yea aint nothin free". I realized I dont have my cash or my wallet on me, it's all in the truck. I just walk out, and he goes back in the office.
Now, I dont really expect anything of anyone, but I kinda felt like that was a big "F you". I also realize they're a business, not a charity. I didn’t want to borrow a tool and leave his shop. I just wanted to take 3min to clean my air filter.
Maybe I should go back over there with the $2, but tell him I need a reciept so I can turn it in to my company to be reimbursed, rotfl. -
