I never idle in temps that low. And if the shop gets the truck in right away, it takes about 15min to change the parameters.

 

Well she was a bit cranky this morning, but at least I got that taken care of

 

Idk what’s going on but they sent me a pre plan to go to Alabama to pick up a load even though Nashville is 2 hours away, but then they cancelled it; pretty fed up with this ####, but at least I can idle during the day and I’m making money

 

Good. I don't remember her name but she was very nice when I called her. 2x I think.

 

Its not going to idle at 66 outside ever. Outside the parameters. Which I think is some federal or insurance guidelines for health...not comfort or driver satisfaction lol... Below 35 or 40 and above 75. 66 is awesome imo, why wouldn't you have the window open and the truck off?

Misquotes, the smell of piss, rain and storms, dusty parking lot, security concerns, the guy next to you leaking raw fuel, cattle truck next to you....


Just some of the reasons I may idle with my windows up below 66deg.

 

Against my better judgement, I had a wheel seal on the trailer making a little bit of a mess. I should of just put it in the wind and fixed it myself at home. Nope, but I’m sure will be pushing $800 and waiting on parts for who knows how long.
