Hour #39 sitting on the side of the road with a dead ecm. It’s been an experience. Little shop here was kind enough to supply me with a battery charger to keep my electric apu running.

Are you actually on the side of the road or in a shop parking lot? How long a wait you think you got for a new one? What program are they going to put in it? Do you even still have the VGT on there or a fixed one? EGR?
    Uggg I can’t even imagine?

Made it to the home 20 last night about 10:000m. My wife and little boy picked me up from the Love's in Italy, TX on 35 southbound. Got the laundry going and me and my son are watching cartoons and building a Lego house. Yeah buddy.

The first hour and half was on the road, no shoulder. It cooled enough to fire it up and get 1/4 mile down the road to pull off. It happened Sat evening, and had to wait until 7 this morning before anyone opened. No local shops had one - they wanted to ups one from Indy tomorrow. Found one back home at my dealer... 2 hours later they told me Quickserve was down and they’d try to get it flashed by tomorrow lol. I told the tech to pull out a dusty cd, and what flash file to use - there hasn’t been a factory update in 10 years. I’d do it myself but I don’t have any cal files for insite, since I never had the need to flash a blank one. The service charge hit my cc around 11 am, had them deliver it to a Truckstop along the way and a friend is picking it up to bring to me. It’s all factory- Vgt , etc.

The sad thing is, I replaced my old ecm in October as preventative maintenance to prevent this problem. I’ll never send in a functional core again - lesson learned.

I’m in the big city of Edon, Oh. The name fits, as the locals are incredible. As mentioned, the fine owner of Hancock Repair was kind enough to supply me with a charger to keep my batteries up.

If that truck came out of Canada, make sure the truck is IN the US, has a US title, and the FET was paid before you send them any money if you move forward on it. If these are the guys that Im thinking of, they buy trucks in Canada, post them for sale cheap on truckpaper and the truck is still located in canada. They forget to tell you that part.

When you fold your ends of the tarp to the center leave at 3 to 4 inch Gap in the center, then when you fold it in half on your last fold it will make the tarp fold flatter. Then fold back to front about 3/4 of the way up. When you roll it make sure you roll it nice and tight

You are in my backyard. Sounds like you have it taken care of, but if you need anything just holler.
