Got my unload/reload in Hastings and made it up to Appleton WI with minuteS to spare. The highway cashiers were busy today, but didn’t see any coops open.
Don’t really have much to add for the whole moob and ugly knees topic...

Or dont trust the seemingly 13yr old idiot they had working because this morning I told them to order the part from Abilene and I'd wait for it and the day shift people knew wtf they were doing and cut a piece of rad hose to length and viola! fixed. Now it aint a forever fix, but it'll do till I can get the correct hose and swap it out.
I drove a whopping 45mi today. Most of it was spent sitting around waiting to load and then fix the atrocious tarp job the tarp tards did.cke, PoleCrusher and jamespmack Thank this. -
@Qbf594 take the job if its a step up and I think anyone offering a truck with an 18spd is probably a good step up. More that likely you won't be using those low gears much, so you can shift it like a 13 or when empty shift it like a 9. I float my gears up and down probably 75% of the time, usually screw with the clutch when I got the engine brake on or Im stopped.
Interestingly enough I also got a tentative offer to run a VERY nice Pete with an 18, pulling either a 53ft step or an RGN. We'll see whats up in a few mo.cke, singlescrewshaker, PoleCrusher and 2 others Thank this. -
8 am unload then, East to Colony For pickup headed back to Chicago.
Which way you headed? Or are you still doing rock circles? -

If you have a large wood block out it under the attaching hitch and chain it there. Then a chain on each end of the brush. I've hauled several of these brushes and the traveled easy like that.jamespmack, Flint1, Nostalgic and 5 others Thank this.
