Summer calls for denim shorts and light colored t shirts and a pair of long sleeved light weight coveralls for loading and unloading.
Tennis treads for all but work and steelies for work

Rolled into Lowes here in Hobbs, NM right at the wire for their unload times and with 24min left on my drive clock.

What's the dumbest thing y'all have done today? I somehow left both my fuel caps off my tanks in Abilene. Just found them both dangling.

    Just say no to jorts.

Dickies shorts or even basketball shorts, tennis shoes (I have a pair of steel toe ones) and some cheap Fruit of the Loom tshirts in your choice of color (safety yellow and orange are good to have) are my goto in temps above 90deg.

I also soak the top half of my work shirts in water before I strap/tarp/untarp if Im gonna be more than 20min or so. As long as my shirt is wet, I don't sweat.

You might think you're manly in your jeans and boots, but when you're sitting there about to die from heat exhaustion, I'll be finishing up and back in the ac.

Silly me for thinking this unload was gonna go quick, I mean its only 8 pallets.

After 20min of waiting for the receiving manager, she said to pull around to the lumber area and they'll unload me. Then she realizes ai have block (afted telling her) and I ask again "doesnt this go on the garden side?" She looks at it and realizes its decorative block and says yea. Dude on the forklift literally followed me all the way to the other side of the building, I pull up on the side and he disappears and that was just over 20min ago...

If I wore shorts, it would probably cause a hazard to airplane traffic. We don't want to end up in jail for terrorizing people either. Folks got enough as it is without thinking the undead is amongst them.

    Yes or no?

~3,000 lb piece of machinery on a steel skid, placed on an aluminum floor of a van. No securement. IDK maybe it was a reefer. Aluminum floor but it looked like it was corrugated?

Common sense tells me its a pretty dumb thing to do.
