But the short, short story is in Belgium it's a cheap beer. They tried controlling the market by lowing price to sell more. Went so far domestic violence was on a huge rise. Stella is forever know as a "wife beater". You can walk in a bar and order a "wife beater" in Belgium. Your gonna get a Stella. The reinvented it as a premium beer to the US market.
