A friend of mine had his wife's trail70 restored for a surprise for there anniversary. He pulled it out of the barn at her dad's.

She hopped on and took of for a couple hours before coming back.

I had 16 of em at 1 time. Bought em all, disassembled from an old dude. Sold most of everything, then sat in my shed for 15 years. My daughter is big enough for my Xl185, but its too heavy, I want her to develop more skills. So i hastily assembled 1 a week ago. The pic is her test ride in the yard. Cool little bike. Has high/low range with a 4spd trans. Rack will hold 2 flats of beer. Tops out at 60mph 20200805_200053.jpg

Thats cool. I had a 1969 4 speed and a spotless 1979 3 speed with the wide handle bars. It was not spotless when little brother sold it. But ran like a fine watch.

I have soft spot for them. And would be all smiles at 285lbs riding one around town. Reguardless what others thought.

A guy I used to work with has several of them. He's tall and long waisted.....we called him stick man when he road a full size. He did the rebuild for my buddy.

Guarantee you and him wouldn't get along...I tried hard to tolerate him and you know how easy going I am....
