- Other than refusing to throw the hook end, I hate the mushiness of trying to tighten one that's half rolled on the winch.
- I cut a dozen or so straps down to use on my typical <4' freight. I used to constantly fold the excess and tuck it in between the strap and rail until I realized how much time I wasted doing it. Not to mention, excess sucks when using pocket winches.

I'll second that. I gave up on their tires about 7 years ago. Better off to pay half again the price for a tire that lasts twice as long.

Those Dayton’s were $280 when I got them. $315 today. I thought they were great tires.
The good years marathon were $386. The endurance was $24 more each. I ordered the marathons. -

Broker gal was off by quite a bit this time.
Quoted me 26k lbs, 30' long & 128" tall..
More like 13k lbs , 20' long & 111" on the dunnage.
Gonna call it a day. Got a long 350miles to Duncan, SC to cover by Monday AM..
