So anyone on here got a favorite wheel gun? I was hanging out with my buddy last night and he had a s&w 357 magnum formerly owned by his grandpa, supposed to be a police edition or something like that from the 60’s; ironically we had a couple beer cans and dang I was surprised how smooth that thing was, had ballistic tips and after I Dirty Harry’ed a can I could tell you could stick your finger through the entrance hole almost lol I’m stuck between getting a 38 special, 357 or 44 made by S&W, kinda have a thing for the model 29 (Dirty Harry revolver); 38 special would be the model 10 with a 4 inch barrel

I just looked at that listing Sunday. I don't think it's been on there long because I look at least once or twice a week. Lol. It looks very clean for the price, but I'd wanna know mechanical history.
As for what to look at, outside of the usual 'truck stuff': Frame. Peterbilt is known for their crappy frames. Particularly, look around the rear suspensions and all under the 5th wheel. Also check the front around the spring hangers.
As a 359, the cab corners and especially the corners of the bunk roof. They rot out and most people don't realize it until they feel a breeze.
I'm not an expert, but I know those are the things I was always warned to look for. Someone like @wore out can give you a whole list, I'm sure.jamespmack, cke, Swine hauler and 7 others Thank this. -
