Exactly why I asked.

If it doesn't have a color or a certain smell, it aint coolant. If you're adding a gallon a week, something is F'ed. Most likely culprits are egr cooler or head gasket

 

Idk if this is related but sometimes when i come to a stop the engine makes a noise like the rpm’s are steaming when it’s time to shift and it says “high exhaust temp”

Remember in the 80's you could have a converter removed and was recommended on a pickup if it was a work truck. Mostly farmers.

I'm not up to date on the new Crapcadias. But it looks like your taking a picture of a A/C expansion valve and evaporator box. You will have water drain from that unit. If it doesn't, it can freeze and stop A/C too. That's not coolant.
