Used that brisket from the other night with some peppers and onions with provolone on top toasted in the oven.

American fries and onions with smoked cheddar and bacon...

    Time to eat.

when you can find one get a 7 or 8 ft piece of metal electrical conduit and stick it under your bunk or along the frame of the truck (the 7 ft might fit beside the mattress). you can then pick up a 12 ft or longer tape measure at a dollar store and you are covered.
If your deck is 50 inches and that piece of 7 ft conduit stands up to the top of the load then your load is 11ft 2 inches high. Any higher then hook the tape to the top of the conduit and hold it to the top of the load, then measure to the deck and add the deck height. Later you can add a 36 inch piece of conduit and a 90 degree joint so that you can swing it over the top of the high point of the load and measure down to the deck from the bottom and add the deck height to the total.
This is a poor mans height stick.

Well I used pb blaster and fluid film on the binders that I’m not using right now, the two ratchets spun like they were brand new; unless he left there’s a Western truck close by me with 4 tarps on his trailer, but I’m the only one that knows that apparently hehe gotta get at least one more chain load in before it’s back to hell; I was ready to hit the road both times earlier in under 30 minutes for unloading
