    My truck is gonna cause me to have an aneurysm.

    Started running warm last Thurs out of Dallas. Stopped S of San Antonio for a few hrs to wait for it to cool off. The whole time the fan never shut off. Got down to S Tx about midnight and parked. Had to shut the truck off to get the fan to disengage. DH back to SA last Fri and have my old boss check it out. I told him I thought the fan clutch was probably stuck on. Truck idled at 175* and the fan wouldn't shut off till I turned the truck off. Went and loaded steel at 8pm, fan never ran and the truck never got over 190*. Bobtailed home. Yesterday morning I called my boss and told him what was up and our company mechanic wanted me to bring it in so he could check/replace it. So I ran my steel load last night. Truck would run 200-210 in the hills and it was about 90 deg till I got out on I10. Then it ran 190* and ran like a scalded dog 70-80mph. During all this I keep getting a check engine light for "Engine Speed Sensor 2". Last night the truck started to cut out randomly at idle, but it never died. Unloaded this morning and ran upto Sweetwater and reloaded for Dallas. Stopped for dinner/shower/nap and left Abilene about 8:30. Made it to Cisco and it started cutting out so bad I couldn't maintain speed. Now Im sitting here idling afted messing with the wiring harness for the camshaft position sensor and not 1 single hiccup. Except the fan is running again and wont shut off unless I shut the truck down.

    There's big ### storm hitting DFW so I'll just stay where Im at till 4 or 5am.

    I am probably too far away from you. Phone around to some local shops, they should be able to handle it. Also a dd13 and a 12 valve cummins arent close to being the same engine. Re powering aint cheap, make sure the truck is actually worth it

    I ran them down to the wear bars on my truck over the last year, so about 100k and they were probably only 40% when I started running this truck and just recently replaced the drives with some BFG's that I love so far.

    They couldnt pay me enough to go to that hell hole . Im glad western pays u the big bucks so the rest of us dont gotta go there lol
