Sitting at my favorite dock in the whole wide world.... we’re 22 hours early for this pickup. Just might get it on today though

Do ELDs actually shut down the truck/put it in limp mode when you exceed your hours? Friend and I were debating that. I said no but he's convinced they will.

 

Man somebody check my pulse because I think I just flat lined right along with the computer on the truck when several vehicles merged in front of me to take an exit and had to really put some pressure on the brake to keep from hitting these idiots, dude swung out right in front of my bumper

 

No they will not. Just gives you a warning indicator on the eld that you are either approaching or in violation.

 

Buddy, I was twisting and turning those suckers at 330 this morning. Lol. All tight.

@PoleCrusher is correct. As a eld rules no. However some companies do have a derate programmed into there parameters. Its all company policy, not law.
