So, my next load is a steel (aluminum?) ingot and I gotta get permits for it; how do you guys like to secure these? It says 8 chains 4 straps; I’m assuming you have to do X chains on the front and back? It weighs 58000 and some change

Hey, truck looks good with a shiny bottle back there!!

Not to get to nosey, but I've been wondering & just now seeing how close the fender is to the fuel tank. Is your Pete a 378, or 379 short hood.? Always just assumed it was a 379 long hood..

Rofl I shouldn’t have done all that boasting over the Qualcomm after that bobcat load, was a mixture of Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan, “OH YEAHHH! BRING IT BROTHERRR!” It’s only overweight hehehe

The only one I’ve heard of that we haul at Western Express is rectangular in shape, hope that’s how it’s gonna be; it’s like this one:

If you can permit it I would assume it’s just one piece?

Only ever seen the ones that are about 4’x3’ stacked 3 high. Usually like 6 rows to 48k lb?
