Great goals just poorly executed! -
In that weird part of youtube again. The bear's reaction is priceless. Like "WTF man?"
cke, Flint1, jamespmack and 4 others Thank this. -
Heck yeah it is! I really like how the visor is thin in the middle & mounted low so you can really see the roof line & cab lights nicely..
The blue one here at the bottom gets me going too. Really like to find one with series 60 in it, like your Pops had. Assuming that's a super rare bird because of series 60 just going into production, & FLC ending production. What was the FLC last model year.? '89 or '90 or so..?

Hey, let's not go confusing the little bugger now.! LoL
Ok, I'll try.
Let me know how far off I am. Like I said nosey, & like to know everyone's specs for possible future endeavors..
Welcome to truck labeling 101. (I don't know jack either so subject to correction by owner
)
Soooo Farmer Jonny, what we have here is a mans truck. ELD exempt large car. This heavy haul W900 has the same # of axles as my entire outfit!!
Powered by a Caterpillar 3406E making a guess of ~700hp not sure if it's 14.6 or 15.8L displacement.?
18speed fuller trans, guess of either 18918b or 20918b?
Oversize 315/80r 22.5 front tires "generally" means 16-18k rated steer axle.
Probably rolling a 46k lb tandem on tall 24.5 rubber will 4.10's?
AG460, or maybe even a Neway suspension.?
17-20k pusher not sure of rubber size there, but think'n 22.5 somethings..?
270-280" wheelbase be my guess?
Has a deceiving look as a tri drive (too me anyhow) with pusher down because of the long full fender.!
How bout it!!
Did I come close on anything..? -
@singlescrewshaker i know its a pete , but tell me this aint a clean truck ! .... 25k on craigslist
1990 Peterbilt Cabover 362 single axle - heavy equipment - by owner...
-
Shoot, I got no problem with a slick Pete! That ol son of gun looks pretty good to me!!
That girl needs a bit of a stretch job if I ever seen one though! Holy jeez, looks like she roll'n on like a 120" wheelbase. Lmao I could wheel that girl in some tight spots..
Plus I'm a sucker for a lil green paint when it matches a green engine too..
The biggest drawback for me, notice how the guy says he's using it to pull an rv.? Ol Buck was draw'n a 3 horse slant not for hire when I picked her up. Now this Pete looks much better taken care of, but lots of little things were slacked on in my case because they weren't subject to DOT inspections. 1st time buyer mistake on my part. Lots of odds & ends, & a million air leaks. Darn tanks would empty out in about 10mins after shutting her down..
2nd maybe I'm a cheapskate, but it also seems most folks who use them for personal use think they are worth way more money than they should be. Notice the rebuilt motor/trans with no papers.? I'd be in for $12k tops knowing it will at least need a little stretch to ride halfway decent, maybe do a tug toy style cutoff deal since she got a 13 speed in there..
Beautiful, unique ride though. I like her..

Busted out laughing at the last part; I want one and I see you can swing down like a fireman, already sold on thatcke, singlescrewshaker, Tug Toy and 3 others Thank this.

Nope, as I mentioned a little further down in the conversation I’m going to drive as far as I can on my Georgia permit, I’d be kicking the tires right about now if I could get somebody to send me a fuel solution; oh well I’ll just go back to sleepcke, singlescrewshaker, Eldiablo and 5 others Thank this.
