My dad looking at a shaker I was thinking of buying about 5 years ago. I could have drove it home for $8500. 400 Cummins recon / 13 spd on air ride.... 8DDFD8E4-49FD-4044-87DB-565D3758278E.jpeg

I have the permits for Georgia and Kentucky, but according to them they can’t get the one for Tennessee until Tuesday so I’m stuck at this pilot on I-75 close to the state line until then

Yes and no to be honest. It took me back to my earlier years and was a good looking truck, but it needed a lot of $$ spent on the rear suspension. It had been used for a logging truck and they flat loaded it heavy!!

I looked at this A model up in Pennsylvania close to Gettysburg too. I lot drove it and although I liked it, it had issues. The pitman arm was hitting the battery box effecting it’s turning ability. And someone had grafted a older Peterbilt air ride cutoff on it. Both frames were different in height, and the splice was just...... oh lord!!

    He wanted $8000 for it. 400 Cummins / 13 spd / 70” flattop sleeper.

All in all, I’m driving the better truck..... and I bought it sight unseen except for a picture on the inter web.....,
