My first ticket in a big truck was rolling north on 71 below Columbus. Got me at something like 63 and laughed a little too much at me when I asked if it was an all day pass. Thought I might get a warning since I made him laugh, but still got the ticket. ETA: Luckily non of those Ohio tickets show up on my MVR at all. Good thing, since I racked up quite a few in the split days.clausland, 650cat425, PoleCrusher and 6 others Thank this.

I’m sure you’re old enough to get the gist of it.....

I hope they're at least paying FJ something to sit there and babysit the load. I know I'd be livid if I had to piss away a long weekend, babysitting someone else's #### up for free.

Wasn't there some ecoboost vs coyote talk in here? I've been virtual truck shopping and pretty much settled on a new F150, just trying to decide between a 3.5 with a tune or a 5.0 with a Roush SC? Looking at 10-15 year ownership with 3k mile a year average.

Yup there was.
I've got one of the new aluminum F150s with the Coyote 5.0L
For all the hype over how great Ford is, I feel a bit underwhelmed. I mean its a nice truck and the 5.0L makes some pretty incredible power bone stock.
The fit and finish leaves a lot to desire IMO. Door gaps and panel gaps don't line up well. My last truck was a Sierra and the fit and finish was much better.
Under warranty, I've had an axle seal and the transmission output shaft seal replaced. Off warranty I've had to replace 2 injectors and an intake manifold.
I've had more recalls on this truck than all of my previous GM vehicles combined. Door latches and cables were revised a couple times and actually have a standing, 10? year replacement. They wear and then stick in the cold. Then you have to drive to work holding the door shut with one arm. Block heater had to be replaced under recall as well since they like to short out and burn your truck down.
Once every month or 2 the Sync 3 system glitches and you lose the stereo and GPS nav. Its always seemed to fix itself after the truck's been shut of for an hour or so. -
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with it for the most part. I'd just like to see Ford step up their quality control and improve their fit/finish.

They’re going to, but my DM is off on the weekend and even though I can cuss WE into oblivion he’s been a pretty stand up guy to me so far; I’m gonna send him an email tomorrow
