I didn’t see much besides what you’d expect, limbs all over, but they already cleaned up quite a bit of it; I’ll take a look around tomorrow, no damage though. Oh crap I hope another tree didn’t fall on my shed at the house next door, one already did and I had to fix the tin on it (I’m not very good at roofing lmfao)

I used to train drivers on pulling wind blades.

We were loading blades in Corpus Christi going to Limon,CO. Myself, another veteran with 4 rookies pulling blades. I showed them how to set up their trailers and we all got loaded. It was 3pm before we got our BOLs. I told the group that we would try to leave out tomorrow AM. A couple of the female pilot cars got a crossed look on their faces. They talk to their driver and tell him that he doesn't have to listen to me and plant seeds of rebellion. One of the guys on my team told me that the other driver was pissed at me. Okay, that's fine. The reason why he was pissed was that he wanted to leave. That's fine too, but we are not leaving until the next day.

This bonehead driver finally comes up to me to talk.

    Bonehead: Why aren't we leaving?
Six: Where is it that you want to go?
    Bonehead: Somewhere.
Six: No. Be specific. Where exactly is it that you want to go? You have $3million on your trailer and so I need you to be specific on where it is you want to drive to.
Bonehead: Well, we could have made it to JunctionTX.
Six: You didn't do your homework.
Bonehead: What do you mean, Six?
Six: There is a metro curfew in Bexar County (San Antonio) from 4pm til 7pm. Texas has us routed up I37 to the 1604 loop, north then west to I10. If we hit the 1604 loop at 7 pm, we will have 56 miles to I10, and then 110 miles to Junction. What time would we be pulling in to the truckstop in Junction at 200 feet long? 10pm? Where are you going to park a 200 ft long load?
Bonehead: Oh, I didn't think about all that.
Six: I know. I will see you in the morning.

But your situation is different. You have WE who just wants meat in the seat. If you REALLY wan to teach, you have to enjoy what it is you do. And then you have to be able to explain what it is you do to a 3 yr old.

Not to rub salt in the wound ol' boy but I took my papers up to the satellite office mid day on a Monday, dropped them into a special virus- free box, and returned home. Wednesday they called the house and said you're all set, come and get it.

I was p---- ed they wouldn't do it same day.....

.....Now, reading about your deal, I'm thinking it's nice to live in hillbilly country.

Good luck with yours, that is maddening for sure.
