You got that Barnyard Cadillac looking good driver!
-
It sure does look good, but I hope it would take a little more than 2 miles to make it look like his efforts were all for nothing.
Seems like that's always my luck...
Tug Toy and whoopNride Thank this. -
Gary IN Petro. Flat sheet steel, tarped. Delivery in Liberttyville IL at 7 am. Looking for something to deliver over the weekend since I didn't get started this week till Wednesday. Still hit my number but would like a head start on next week. Had a few good offers today but nothing spectacular. I'll keep looking in the morning. No since being gone over the weekend if it's just a regular run of the mill rate. Looking for some miles so I'll be outside of my area when I deliver Monday. No telling what I'll get back so it's got to pay good to go out.
Oxbow, snowman_w900, Logan76 and 3 others Thank this. -
Thanks guys. Managed to keep her clean for 2 days so far. Your right though usually the next delivery is at a mud factory.

When you're patiently waiting for your steel delivery to arrive.

And then it does.

Driver: "They didn't have any trouble loading it."
Me: "I'm sure they didn't. They got behind it with a forklift and shoved it in."
"Getting it back out may be a bit of a trick."
74" x 15' x 3/16 AR 400 plate. Had to make several attempts, but we finally got it pulled out with the overhead crane onto the car trailer. -

and they didn't pay extra for tarping

I'm sure he had several other drops, it was a big LTL company and the steel came from Tulsa. Kind of caught me off guard. I'd seen him go around the block and figured he was looking for the guys next door, until he walked in the shop and asked for me.
