I don’t really like the 38 snubs because from what I gather the bullet has a hard time expanding thus not doing as much damage and also there’s lack of penetration, but I planned on getting one with a 4 inch barrel, just what those new ones generally look like

You can get them anywhere, some places just call the tax free ones solvent traps.

The .243 would of been way better off compared to 5.56 nato imo.

SOCOM has switched to the 6.5 Creedmoor for its intermediate round as of 2018

@farmerjohn64 if building a replica M40 give the 6.5 CM a hard look (.264 cal). NATO lists the effective range of the 7.62 around 800-900 yd whilst the 6.5 CM stays supersonic till ~1400 yd with a 142gn and has better knockdown power than a 308 at the same range.

If you don't already know it look up the BC (ballistic coefficient) and SD (sectional density) of the 6.5 cal. Superior to the 308 in every way

I bought a 300 mag lol I thought about a 308 though; somehow I saved money by not buying the same gun but in 308

I used to get some 170-180 proof. It was smooth. But once you swallowed it, you could feel heat start in your belly and rise to the top of your head.

With my rather unrefined palate, anything beyond 80 proof typically tastes like gasoline. But with this Blue Flame stuff you can actually taste the corn.

I get that. Some is high proof but ruff or hot going down. That is no fun.

This didn't get hot till after you swallowed it. I dont know if I'll ever get anymore. But it was the best.
