Where is everyone #5

You know you must have had a short day when you come home and turn on ATS and spec out a new truck.

 

Too many drivers at this company are nonchalant about passing off trash to other drivers. I’ve picked up two trailer this week that have had serious issues. The first was a bumper that was smashed in, bending the two frame beams in the rear... They tried to have me do an oversized load today to which I declined because of it. I shouldn’t of yanked the trailer, period. Never mind doing a load where I’m under a DOT microscope? Forget it.

Today I picked up a trailer with a massive air leak and ABS issue... so I’ll be spending my morning at a truck stop getting it fixed. Never mind the basketball sized holes in the tarps that were left for me from the fellow driver... should’ve just kept the old trailer and my perfect tarps.

I posted my complaints on our wonderful group chat only to be smacked with “get used to it, cry baby” and “just patch it” no no no no yeah let me spend my time fixing everyone else’s problems. Sure convenient for you, driver...

It’s ######## how this has become precadent here. I get here, this job is hard, tarping is a pain, and no one is perfect.

But I’ll be the first one to say I’ll open go leaps and bounds for another driver here. Holes? I’ll patch them before leaving the tarps. Trailer issues? I’ll get them fixed as soon as I can so YOU don’t have too.

I’m too nice and I’m over it. I’m now a cold stone #######. I see one baseball sized hole on a tarp that you’re giving me now... I’ll tarp it myself, yank your #### off on your time.

How would you feel? Drivers constantly tearing up your #### with absolutely no pride in their job and no respect for their fellow employees? Come drive for us. We don’t give a ####.

I’m as pissed as I’ve ever been I think.

And don’t hit me with “teamwork” nonsense. Teamwork doesn’t equal me carrying your weight while you ride off into the sunset with my well kept equipment. I’m out.

The dirty ######## have a little more octane....ya know like when you go by the Detroits and just wave.....

 

If I ever start a company, I'd hire you in a heartbeat.

I had some cherry pie cheese cake I thought was good but not a fan of cherry pie. So the cheese cake turned it around.


@Rontonio glad to see Zoe is improving. Keep the faith, I will give Doc another hot dog for her
