  2. in a hurry this mornin, stopped and grabbed a McDonald's burrito and hashbrown........dont ever do that ! Went through me like gas through a funnel !! Thats one porta John that will be avoided fer a while !:rolleyes:

    Might be able to get close to 12100lb.?

    FWIW, ol' Buck is ~15,500lb with 200 US gal of diesel. Forward tanks ~9500 steer 6000 drive. 8' of double frame, 42" bunk, all my clothes, tools, & crap ready to roll..

    Just probably didn't know what he had from the start, or doesn't remember what the road speed rpm used to be..?

    Quite an abomination to go on almost 100 post.. :confused:

    I did the calculations using the same calculator you did, 1500 RPM, 40" tall tires and 2.64 rears. My speed numbers were almost double what he's reporting. When I punched in the same info but using 3.91 rears I came up with numbers pretty close to what he reported. Kinda weird lol.

    C7 Cat is half the size, IIRC.

    That looks like a good truck for my job. I think it could use a sliding fifth wheel though.

    Just remenber. A C7 is a under powered turd without replaceable liners. One and done. 427 gas chevy will run circles around it.

    Welp 3 loads of corn, 60 miles in pickup to get a radiator for a Sunday job and a trip to the store.

    Time for a Beer and get smoker going. Just doing burgers for the inlaws. Wondering if I can wash the tractor at the sametime.

    Wouldn't believe me if I told ya, but yep. Got it yesterday!!
    Delivered to 12th st. Dr W instead of 12th st. W. Not even the same house # too!! Sat at that dildos house for ~10days before he realized it wasn't his. o_O Told you a bit about my neighbors once before. I need out of city limits sooner than later..

    Gonna try hit it Monday, but ain't got nothing lined up.. :cool:
