I never take my phone or my headset out when I'm working..but it cracks me up when loading next to someone and they look you in the eye and are talking. I say pardon me? And they point at their headset, with an attitude like interrupted an important conversation! Really? You can't give up the phone even to load? Very unprofessional in my opinion. But what do I know...I'm just a dumb truck driver...

 

Well... looks like I’m gonna be here till early afternoon... so I won’t make it to wores backyard. Probably North 40 again.

If I was CEO I’d offer detention pay on repowers. The money comes outta the late drivers check for the week after two hours... dinged for 25 bucks a pop...

But it's a 389 glider with a 600 hp C-15 under the hood. No DEF garbage here.

 

But if you don't got DEF...what are we gonna do with all this pee we saved up?!

 

I'm not some filthy slob who doesn't like to walk across the parking lot to use the washroom like a civilized person.

Best to save the urea for animal feed.

 

I own one and it’s purpose isn’t to look important but to conduct legitimate business. It’s also illegal to talk on a handset and drive a semi. I’m on short hauls that often require me to talk and maneuver at the same time. I don’t wear it in public but I will wear it on the job site while I’m chaining or unchaining, often the conversation I’m having can’t wait and I would like to get done at some point.

Just came down the pipeline. ( no pun intended) going to be super truckin long haul next year. Going to move equipment out west so no more gravey home time for me anymore.

 

I don't have a headset. Seems like it never fails that I get to my first am stop and the phone starts ringing as I pop the brakes.
