With how the rates are atm will be out of that radius quite a bit. Keeping an eye on some mid west loads....paying out the ###, ~2500 for 500-600mi coming back east. Now that you can get 2.50 a mi or so going west out of here its worth it. A lot less hassle than stringing together 4-5 short ones for the wk.

Seeing lots of Findlay/Toledo loads coming back to Allentown

 

Busy... kids are running me ragged! You think I'm old, but I wanna see you keep up with a 4 year old while helping coach and encourage a 19 year old thru her sophomore year of college, and have time helping a high school senior plan the rest of his life... while maintaining two trucks and trailers and working too! Honestly, I wouldn't trade it all for the world

 

Right, you have a exempt truck. Run a time card everyday your close to home. Then fill out a comic book when you go further or lay over.

Getting some OT lately. Stayed an extra hour to replace a hose on a mini ex. Figured may as well get it finished tonight so its not clogging up the shop tomorrow morning.

Hey hey hey, I never outright called you old, I just like to joke hahaha speaking of “planning the rest of your life” I keep bouncing back to wanting to be a cop, totally bought the whole “make a difference” slogan when it comes to being a police officer and similar professions

 

I was right there man... when we were getting ready to leave Iraq it dawned on me it'd be the perfect time for a career change back in civilian life. I started emailing and collecting info on becoming a pennsylvania state trooper. I more or less said to hell with it when they told me I'd have to do a form of basic training all over again. I still kinda wonder 'what if' , but im happy with life as it is.
