    15-20 deliveries and 3-5 pickups over 250-300 miles is my typical day.

    Yup I couldn’t do your job, that’s way too much micromanaging for me at the early stage of my career; I’d be trying to figure out where the hell I go to next and what goes where

    I found that a stop at the 6 to 7 hour spot for a quick lunch and potty break stretched to 30 min satisfied the DOT and didn't effect my 14 hour clock .
    The only time it bothered me was when under a OSOW load between November and March.

    That’s pretty much what I like to do too; I can drive up to 8 hours no problem and then I find it better to only have a couple hours left after the break, makes it feel like a real breeze of a drive

    I forgot if he has a flatbed or not but I can definitely see why you’d throw the hook and get rolling again asap, in reference to a past discussion
