I wasn’t too impressed when I opened the saddle box earlier. I’ll share another pic in the morning but the welds didn’t inspire confidence by any means...

Made the Sturgeon Lake rest area for the night. 130 miles out from the customer and 11:30 am unload appointment. Have 549 miles to drive to get to Pembina, ND and across the border.



My wife is upset I may not be home on "the day" of our anniversary, after me asking her if celebrating on the weekend was an okay alternative to booking off Tuesday to guarantee being home and screwing up my pay for the whole week, and her agreeing. Women sometimes...

Oh well, I'm looking forward to a quiet night here and a bit of sleeping in tomorrow.

Lucked out got loaded tonight. Got a good shower at the facility. Coming in here watching my truck go by those old glass store fronts it came back to me why I made a decision to live as I have.
