They gon train you on a manual hopefully? You don't want that auto restriction

 

I wanna go to a manual next myself, feel like a real trucker and not a steering wheel holder lol don’t like taking an automatic up and down canyons/mountains either

 

Sadly no.

 

Well once you get your experience in I’d spend the extra cash to test out in a manual transmission truck and get that off of there unless you wanna drive automatics; find a school that lets you use their truck or rent one for the day

 

Pretty productive Saturday. Already thrashed the lower body at the gym for an hour and drove into town to restock the sups. Guess its time to finally catch up on some QDM.

 

Ouch.

 

For some reason i thought WE still had sticks

 

Not that I know of; it’s always fun going downhill, slowed down under the speed limit, pick up speed like a mf and in a curve so you can’t use your brakes and your jakes are finally kicking in but you already gained 5 to 10 mph “Oh ####tttt!”

 

I have like less than 10 minutes seat time in an auto and I hated every one of those minutes.

 

Well I met an interesting fellow yesterday; he was in his 40’s or so, I was climbing up on to my passenger side door to grab my jerry can for my generator and I heard someone behind me say “Let’s go sell some copper”; I looked behind me, seen him in his truck (Kenworth I think), grinned and obviously declined as I went for my gas can; ended up talking to him for probably 15 minutes, guy asked me about my generator and embarrassingly the dent He asked me last night if I could watch his reefer trailer as he went to vote this morning, of course said I would and he left not that long ago after giving me the information to a company he said I’d make decent money at; not that interesting of a story, merely a tale of actually meeting someone out here who seems like a good character
