    As long as you have not peeled it away from the casing, run with it.

    That could be caused by a few things. Running along a place that has a bit of different heights, like the rough edge of a road. Turning hard while stopped. The list is long.

    Now that you mentioned it, I changed lanes left to right in a construction zone that had a 2-3" difference in lane height..

    And on a MN 2 lane, I was trying to give an oversized coming the opposite direction some breathing room. So I rode the rumble strip for a hundred feet or so.. :eek:

    I agree, as long as there isnt any cracking down at the casing, Id run it. I had a Michelin on my old company truck do the same with less than 80k on them, but the casing was showing a big crack, so our co. mechanic put 2 new steers on.

    I did that in a construction zone once, ended up blowing one of my trailer tires and I thought it was just a bumpy road, when I stopped about 10 miles down the road at a rest area that ####er had just a little tread left around the rim! :eek::D
