I've always thought the exact same thing. With today's technology I'd think any new engine, could be virtually smoke free, get 10mpg average, & have the reliability & million + mile longevity of the great pre EGR engines. Not to mention the power they'd make not being all choked off, & Caterpillar would probably still be in the on highway segment..

Non of the emissions were proven. They were stuffed down the pipe too quickly, & the testing was basically passed off on the trucking companies, & the owner operators.. I'm already feeling my self getting riled up, so I'll leave it be.. But yeah, not a fan..

Also just messing with you, I know you don't like appendix carry.. Many other options though for a snub nose. Pocket holster, ankle, outside waistband with a jacket on. I'm sure you know, all different kinds of ways to carry to suit your style..
