If you are still with the trailer look between the frame rails, you will see a tube running between the two jacks. Look at where it connects to the right one and check to see if the bolt is broken or gone.
If it is, get a 3/8'' bolt about 3-4 inches long with a nut and fix it.

Yeah you’re probably right, the shaft isn’t broken or damaged, didn’t know specifically what to look for though

They say as much during training. It's to pass the test. Orientation they teach 45 & 90 backing. As well as serpentine backing around cones. Basically driving the trailer.

At Schneider there was a slow maneuver course around badly damaged dry vans lol that was fun, was supposed to simulate driving through a truck stop, but they forgot about the one ####### that parks in the way of travel and boxes you in, or the one that parks directly in front of you sideways and you can’t get out without hitting him or the truck next to you the next morning

I still wear shorts and t shirts. I call this conditioning weather. I don't wear pants until -20c (-2f).
People that bundle up early are the frozen ones when it actually gets cold

You may want to consider a lighter oil. I run 10W 30 synthetic blend. It moves the soot through the engine better. You can mix it to bring the weight down as well.
