Noooooo..... you need an oldskool Shaker with something like this, only a V8 version lol. Get your feet wet on a good 2 stroke and you’ll be a changed man....:D D3036D6D-C7B3-49A0-8016-0E343BD223F5.jpeg

Newer tanks and wheels. But that has the old dash and doors. Good looking ride with enough hood and grill for any engine.

Silver double OO 435hp 8v92TA would be a winner! That's probably the neatest sounding engine I've ever heard turn #2 into noise!! Lol :D

But I'm turning into a die hard Series 60 fan. I love the sound, reliability, & fuel mileage. Haven't owned one that made any respectable power yet, but 12.7, maybe a 575hp 14.0, with the right tune is what I'm after one day in the future..

I still need to take a trip to PA & see what them boys can do to this 11.1 ddec II..

I agree with you 99%. But recall riding around in a 79 flc cranked up 8v92ta, and. Transtar with a 238. You wanna do that for a show truck sure. A Big Cam lll, B model cat, Early series 60 still have value and old skool. The rest are historical. The series 60 is 33 years old now.

You know, I keep looking but can't find it. I may have made a mistake quote in my earlier post..?

So now I'm thinking the Silver 8v92TA 435hp ( CA model 430hp) is an earlier engine before the 8v92TA Double-O.? That might have been had with 500hp.? Does that sound right, or no..?

I wonder if @OLDSKOOLERnWV would have the image I'm looking for safely ensconced in The Red Beard Library.? LoL :D

I seem to recall a late '70's or early '80's Detroit Diesel advertisement from a trucking magazine page. I've been combing the internet, but can't find it. It mentioned the power specs of the "new Double-O" (owner operator) 8v92..
