Where is everyone #5

Hmm let’s see; fresh straight coffee, apple pie, waitress wearing a matching color uniform with heels, cook in the back, rows of tables and chairs, plaid shirt, blue jean, work boots wearing truckers, etc haha!

 

That’s because that’s where everyone was waiting in line with a roll of quarters to call there dispatch or the wife n kids every couple days. Lines of guys waiting for the 5 or 6 pay phones.

And communal showers.

 

Man that part of it must of not been so fun. Or the no ac, or power steering, air ride etc.. Mostly just wish there was more camraderie out here . Its nice when u can bs with somebody for a couple minutes but just seems like its few and far between

 

I had a grand old time earlier with like these 5 other truckers this morning; I went to fuel the truck, the pump was down so I backed up and was waiting for someone to move and then I hear a bunch of air horns; I’m looking around feeling like the coolest #### since sliced bread but it turned out I was accidentally blocking the exit and nobody moved from the pumps because they were all down

 

Its to bad u dont have a cb or you wouldve heard " god ###### western get your stupid ### out of the ####in way !!"

 

I died laughing at the first expletive because I knew where it was headin’

I looked in their general direction, grinned and waved my left arm in a confused motion because I had no freakin clue why all of these guys were honking at me lmao! It’s hard to see that far back out the windows, man

 

Couple months back there was some super trucker pissing and moaning cuz i was running 50 on the 2 lane us 93 between polson and lakeside montana. Sun just come up, well i run this road everyday, same road ive killed 2 deer on and near missed more than i care to remeber. Tried to tell him that its alot of deer out here dont wanna be runnin so fast thru here at this time. He didnt wanna hear none of that and proceedd to call me every name in the book. .... Well we got a passing lane i slowed down so he could get around . He disappeared over the hills , until i came up on him about 20 minutes later.. pulled over on a chain up pullout with his fresh deer kill all over the road and his entire front end of his truck demolished....

#### y'all sit around and talk and post on the internet don't any of you actually run any miles? LOL.

Also if you had to choose between the two loads, would you rather run 400 miles at $1.91 a mile then a 120 Mi deadhead, or get paid $600 on 205 miles then a 300-mile deadhead?

Pfft no not yet, I’d get an advance as suggested and go to a regular gas station, but I’m not dealing with Western Express’s reimbursement bs; 50% of the time I need to be reimbursed I gotta stomp someone’s balls to get it done; I tried to call the nearby truck stops but no answers
