Buffalo chicken bacon ranch Pizza is the way to be weird.

But we all know, pepperoni , bacon, yellow peppers is the greatest combo of all time.

 

I've got an 8.1 in an '06 GM 2500HD. I looked into hp/tq mods instead of going to a diesel to pull my 40' toyhauler camper. Unless a guy wants to get way expensive they sure aren't an engine to build on. Raylar is one outfit that has sunk a lot of R&D into them, after cams and heads the weak point are the pistons...ring lands start breaking chunks off as soon as you add pressure.

There's some mod shop on youtube that has a couple drag cars, they go around to salvage yards and buy Chevy 4.8 engines and throw big turbos on them. They run insane times with stock block boosted 4.8's and get several runs before they blow up. Stout little engines.

 

You can put boost to an 8.1 no problem and make big #'s. The 8.1 is more like an older 454 than a gen 3+ small block engines, but they are plenty strong.

 

Seen alot of wiped out cams and broke rocker studs in utility bucket trucks with high oil consumption. Im a GM guy. But you couldn't give me a 8.1l

They were BETTER than everyone else. The goal isn’t to be as good as everyone else, that would make you competitive. The goal is to be the best version of you. That will make you great.
