I've gotten minor frostbite on my hands a few times over the years. Even with gloves on the fingers were aching. Its only like 24°F out too.

This lawn equipment place i worked at in high school brought over a leaf blower with the 1st snowfall and told me to have at it LOL. I thought they were screwing with me. Good for about 6 inches

 

We had a couple kicking around the last shop I worked at for clearing off machines before bringing them in. Beat using a broom.

 

By hair dryer you mean the weed burner exhaust right. Every woman loves the fresh scent of a polar bear friendly emissions engine.
