I did that once and only once when I first started; left the key in the truck with it running (already sounds like a bad idea rofl), came back with my dinner and the ####er locked automatically on me; I walked around looking for another international at the TA at night and knocked on this guys door with my sad little violin, guy basically told me to #### off because I drive for Western, but then tracked me down soon after and helped me out

I have no idea where I’m heading from here, dropping off in Phoenix, but I need to go to the Nashville terminal so I’ll likely be heading that way; apparently it’s the only terminal with flatbed equipment and after swapping trailers twice I’m short on a few items, primarily coil racks

 

I got 6 coil racks that do nothing but take up space . Seems half of the crap i carry is stuff i use 1 or 2 times but sure does come in handy when i need it.. Havent decided if its worth the extra clutter in the box.... Think if i freed up space in the box id just fill it with more crap that i use 1 time ... entirely defeating the purpose of cleaning said box..... Does we preplan u on loads or u got to wait until after u deliver ?

 

It varies, usually a mixture of both; I haven’t had to use coil racks very often besides those 2 suicides I hauled last, just don’t wanna go pick up a load and look like a ####### because I’m missing equipment lol

 

I think this is an accurate representation of how everyone’s day was yesterday haha! This is what driving for Western does to you and being cooped up for a week; I since shaved, showered and washed my clothes, no longer feel like a rough old dog!
