I've actually always preferred the older halogen yellowish light output over the blueish white of leds in inclement weather. I feel I can see the road surface better in heavy rain, & assumed halogen would be better in snow.. Thanks, now I'll have a worse time deciding on what to get..

Rock guards sound nice too. I've lost 6 fog lights, & 2 headlights to rocks over the last ~3 years in this shaker..
