Where is everyone #5

Well I’ll be cruising at 60 mph for the rest of this trip, Western has their trucks (or at least mine) set at 55 - 60 mph in California but I can override the computer by pressing down on the pedal, only get 62 though

 

Its a Monday for sure. Over 2hrs waiting to unload. The weather is crap, spitting just enough rain that I can't pull my tarps.

 

How does your truck know it's in CA.?

Does the speed seriously adjust by state.?
That would be annoying..

 

Lol think I passed up the Monday madness because I was in Laredo so long I did a 34, so now I’m just cruising along down I-10

There was a sexy old K100 at the truckstop last night. Went by it way too quick to get a pic. Had that old school stripe pattern on it too.

 

So I spent a leisurely afternoon with @Tug Toy yesterday.!
He's there, but we had him sink into the shadows so the US Marshall's can't track him down..


Hell of guy, even donated that fine lunch you see there!! The 2nd hand I've met now from #5, with so much knowledge to lend about trucks, the industry, life, & what makes the world turn.. Had a great time BS'ing with ya, hope we'll get the chance to do it again..

I guess with all the tracking stuff out there, (shoot y'all was just talking bout it a few post back), it's entirely possible..

Well, you gotta be closing in on your 1yr there at WE by now ehh.? Almost time to move on to greener pasture..

 

Haha yeah man I’ll have 9 months in March, but I’m runnin after that since I have 3 months with those other companies, definitely not signing another 6 month contract
